Gateway murder trial

The jury is at an impasse

with 4 comments

The judge read what sounded like a prepared “jury instruction” that basically said they had to go back to the jury room and continue to deliberate. They have to allow each juror to speak and have their say and then they have to try to come to an agreement.

If they still can’t come to an agreement, the judge will declare a mistrial.

  3. The Andrews family looked distraught, especially Steven’s mother. She looked very frail as she left the courtroom.

The rest of the family just left in disbelief.

Fred’s family is in a bit of disbelief as well.

The prosecution looks deflated. The defense doesn’nt look much better.

  4. Thanks, I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to go through all this with a family member.
