  1. Melissa,

Are any of Steven or Michelle’s parent there?

  2. the anticipation is killing me!!!

  3. The noon news reported that Steven nor Michelle’s parents had been in the court room up until that point today…they mentioned that Fred Cooper’s family had been in since court started this AM…

I agree Jenni, the anticipation is awful…

If anyone reads this and maybe caught something I missed, I have a few questions….

Is this the first time that Fred Coopers “story” has been heard as far as sleeping with Michelle?…even so, don’t you think the 4 runner should have been processed if it was sitting in their driveway? inside and out?…and if Fred Cooper claims to have received phone calls to Sunsports from Michelle can’t those phone records be recalled? either the records from her cell or from the home phone?…proving that she called Sunsports?…I don’t know how far back they can trace phone records….

Just some thoughts I have had…

    Hopefully we hear something soon…

  4. A few good questions Kelly. I haven’t heard anything about those either. They should be able to pull up the records, I wonder how far back they can pull the records. I have been going to this blog since the trial started and even though I think he did it. I dont know if they proved that he did it without a resonable doubt. I also think Kellie knows more than she is saying. I hope we will hear something soon. Keep up the good work Mellissa.

  5. What happens if the jury is comes back with a hung decision?

  6. I think a hung jury means Cooper has to be retried. Both sides get another bite at the apple. I also think that in a death penalty case all of the jurors also have to vote for the death penalty. Otherwise, he can still be found guilty and get life instead.

  7. The pentalty phase is where they decide if he dies or not.

  8. I think that they will find him guilty, but will he be sentenced to death. The vicitim impact statements are going to be very persuasive in this case and the prosecution can show special circumstances because of the cruelty involved especially in Michelle’s death.
