The defense asked for Cooper to be acquitted due to insufficient evidence. Garber says the prosecution has a circumstantial case.

  1. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THE DEFENSE ASK FOR THE CASE TO BE DROPPED??? He is a cold blooded killer.

  2. He is innocent until proven otherwise. That’s one of the perks of living in this country. While in my gut, I’m sure he did it, the evidence is indeed a bit weak. The burden of proof lies with the prosecution, and I don’t think they’ve proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he was responsible.

  4. All I have to say is I’m glad I’m not a juror in this case.

    I have thought from beginning that he was the killer all because of the DNA under her fingernails. If he is in fact telling the truth about an affair with Michelle then isn’t it possible that is how it got there.

    I’m kind of in doubt now.

    I just want the person who murdered these 2 people to be put behind bars and their families to get closure.

  5. He is LYING to try and save his life. In the orginal police interview he said he had only meet them at the Christmas Party and now when push comes to shove he is trying to cover up.
