Detectives go to Fred’s work and asks for his camo jacket. He signs a waiver to allow detectives to go get it from his Bonita Springs home.

Jim Peters will say after the detective left, Cooper went up to him and said can I take off for a few, I have a few errands to run. Cooper then leaves Sunsports on his motorcycle. Peters says Cooper was gone about 25 minutes.

Then he saw Cooper take out a camo jacket and saw him take chemicals off the shelf at his work station and sprayed and scrubbed the camo jacket.

Peters will say after that he saw Cooper cut the mesh lining out of the jacket and threw it in the trash.

Peters called the sheriff’s office and Ryan went back to Sunsports.

Ryan went up to Cooper, we couldn’t find your jacket at the condo and then Cooper says I had it here all along, it was in my work truck. And hands it to detectives.

Ryan will testify to the odor of the jacket.
